Thomas di Lustro passed away on February 25th. He was 68.
Recently he returned to Irvington after living in Bayside, Queens for the last 28 years. His dream was to move to Florida so he could go to the beach and play golf every day.
He proudly served 2 years in the army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He retired several years ago after working over 20 years for the United States Postal Service.
Tommy, as his family and friends called him, was a great athlete and an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all the games he could on TV. He loved talking "sports" with his friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica of Queens, his sister Jean of Irvington, his uncle of Palm Bay, FL and many cousins. He was pre deceased by his father Thomas and mother Rita.
Tommy was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. We will never forget his dry sense of humor which always made everyone laugh. He was a loving father, brother and friend.
