Ann Cicio, 88, of Boca Raton, FL and recently of Ridgefield, CT, formerly from Dobbs Ferry, NY, died peacefully with her family at her side at Danbury Hospital on January 23, 2013. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Frank Christopher Cicio, Sr. who she had been happily married to for 65 years. She raised her family in Dobbs Ferry and in her retirement she loved spending winters in Florida with her husband. She was born in Manhattan, raised in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from high school, Ann had various secretarial positions. During World War II, Ann was a dedicated secretary for the Red Cross on behalf of her nation, her armed forces, and suffering humanity. She continued her secretarial services for many years until retiring at Ciba-Geigy.
Ann was a loving and devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children: Frank and his wife Maria, their sons Christopher and Sam; Debbie and her son Jesse his wife Cara and their daughter Layla; Jeffrey and his wife Barbara, their children Carolyn and her son Dante, Jeffrey, Brian and his wife Kim and their son Mason; Adrienne and her husband Mark and their sons Alex and Spencer.
Daughter of Gaspare and Rose deceased of Brooklyn, NY, deceased sisters Benne, Francis, and Mary and brother Vito and surviving brother Sam.
Ann's quick wit and warm heart filled the lives of family and friends with joy. She will be greatly missed.
